American Legend’s best suggestions for local sandwiches

August is both National Sandwich Month and National Panini Month! So why not treat yourself to a sandwich…made by someone else! Here are our favorite sandwiches, all located conveniently to American Legend communities!

If you live in Star Trail, Lilyana or Windsong Ranch, the Cotton Gin Café in downtown Prosper is a must-visit! While you’re there, try their pork tenderloin sandwich. Yum! 

Our Light Farms families rave about Lucy’s On the Square in downtown Celina. Their sandwich menu includes a Chicken & Bacon Club, the BLT Grilled Cheese and the Rolled Buffalo Wrap with fresh avocado! 

Families in our Watercress community have easy access to Fort Worth’s Alliance Town Square, which is home to Great Harvest Bread Co. Bakery and Café. Their homemade breads make the perfect sandwiches! The Texas Pecan Salad sandwich is our favorite! 

Hills Café is a charming spot located within the Castle Hills community. This neighborhood destination has several sandwiches on the menu as well as four paninis! Located just around the corner from American Legend’s Design Gallery, we are regulars and can vouch for just about everything on the menu! One of our favorites is the Cuban Panini with pulled pork, smoked West Virginia ham, Swiss cheese and chipotle mayo. 

All of our American Legend communities offer great locations and access to endless entertainment and restaurant options. We encourage you to find reasons to explore your neighborhood, try new places and make new friends while you’re at it!
