American Legend’s parent company, Bright Realty, has just gotten the green light to move forward with a huge mixed-use development that will bring new offices, apartments and hotel space to the area. The Crown Centre project is planned to occupy 140 acres on State Highway 121 near the Castle Hills community. The City of Lewisville just approved plans that will include up to 2,000 multifamily units, 3 million square feet of offices space and as many as 500 hotel rooms, ultimately comprising 35 buildings connected by open space with lakes and trails. It is set to open mid-2020. Crown Centre is the second major mixed-use project by Bright Realty, after The Realm at Castle Hills that includes offices, restaurants, retail, entertainment and apartments.
“Crown Centre will serve as a substantial employment center for the city as well as a walkable live, work and play destination,” Chris Bright, Bright Realty CEO, said in a statement. “It is designed with the multifamily components spread throughout the office and retail spaces to encourage pedestrian activity and use during both daytime and evening hours.”
Developments like The Realm and Crown Centre are one of the reasons that make living in Castle Hills so great and American Legend families here will soon have access to all of the conveniences it will provide. This is in addition to the long list of amenities they already enjoy, including community pools, a private golf course, sports fields and more. The homes of Castle Hills are surrounded by gorgeous natural scenery with over 25 parks, several lakes and trees planted every 30 feet. Homes at Castle Hills Northpointe are selling now.
