Get to Know American Legend’s President and COO Kevin Egan

American Legend Homes began building homes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2003 and expanded to Northern Colorado in 2018. The Dallas-based company is part of the Bright Industries family of businesses, a respected entity in North Texas since the 1950s. Kevin Egan, American Legend president and COO, has a strong connection to the area. He grew up in Loveland and graduated from Colorado State University. He shares his thoughts below on the expansion into the Northern Colorado community.

American Legend Homes: Why is ALH a good fit for the Colorado area?    
Kevin Egan: Colorado is a growing market and has a need for a homebuilder that is more focused on quality, style and how the customer is served. ALH: Why did you choose Colorado for expansion as opposed to other states? 
Kevin: Colorado offers strong job growth and an ability to distinguish ourselves as a premium builder as well the quality home sites we were able to secure. 

ALH: What excites you most about building in the Colorado market?
Kevin: The ability to offer something different from most other builders in the area. In addition to our customer service and quality-built homes, we offer buyers here in Colorado a large number of floor plan options which can be personalized to fit their specific lifestyles with extra bedrooms, bathrooms, game and media rooms, and studies. Our plans are all open and incorporate the use of natural light and offer the option for generous outdoor living spaces, which is especially nice with the outstanding views that Colorado offers.
