At American Legend Homes, we believe in building homes in communities that fit your lifestyle. That includes communities where families can enjoy some of North Texas’ favorite golf courses.
Here are four of our favorites:
Mansfield National Golf Club | Mansfield, TX
Mansfield National was designed by John Colligan of Colligan Golf in Arlington and features picturesque landscapes of Bermuda fairways, water features and mature trees. The course's signature hole is No. 5 and is probably the most difficult par 3 in the metroplex. The golf club also offers a 4,000 square-foot clubhouse serving food and beverages and a fully stocked golf shop.
The Golf Club Fossil Creek | Fort Worth, TX
This Arnold Palmer-designed championship golf course is in a stunning, natural setting in Fort Worth and offers a 24-station driving range, 2 practice greens, a practice bunker and a chipping area. You can dine at Arnie's Pub & Grille with its full bar and delicious casual dining for breakfast and lunch. At Fossil Creek, you get the amenities and service of a private club at affordable, daily fee prices.
Frisco Lakes Golf Club | Frisco, TX
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located within the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community. Designed by Gary Stephenson Golf Design, the front nine travels through the current community, while the back nine weaves its way through the open countryside. With 5 sets of tees, the golf course has the perfect yardage for all skill levels.
Oak Hollow Golf Course | McKinney, TX
Located in the heart of McKinney, the Oak Hollow Golf Course has quickly become the community's favorite place to host company golf leagues, charity events and annual golf tournaments. Amenities include an indoor swing room with launch monitor and high speed cameras, 2700 sq ft. lighted pavilion, 40 bay 300 yard driving range and 2 full-size practice greens with practice bunker. Oak Hollow offers a reasonably priced, quality round of golf, which will challenge the average golfer and be forgiving for newcomers.
Gentle Creek Golf Club | Prosper, TX
Gentle Creek opened in August of 2002 with a challenging D. A. Weibring design that serves as the centerpiece for Prosper’s country club community. Weibring’s design tips out over 7,300 yards, and features some excruciatingly long holes. Fortunately, there are alternative tees that make the course more playable for the average golfer.
