The leadership team at American Legend Homes knows it’s not enough to just build great homes in a community. It’s important to become a part of the community through participation and financial support of worthwhile organizations. Even though American Legend only recently expanded into the Northern Colorado area, the company is already involved in supporting its community.
Colorado Youth Outdoors (CYO) is a nonprofit organization that works to build relationships between kids and parents through traditional outdoor recreation with activities such as fishing, archery, camping and shooting sports. The program features a 16-week core program as well as special events throughout the year. American Legend Homes was a proud supporter of the organization’s recent event called “The Maverick,” a clay shooting fundraiser that brought together participants from all over the world.
“This event funds a large portion of the CYO’s annual budget and allows us to provide amazing resources to our program participants throughout the year,” said Austin Tankersley, American Legend Homes assistant superintendent. “I'm also involved in the organization and work with them to coordinate programs and events. I appreciate American Legend’s contribution to CYO and the communities where they build.” Read more about American Legend’s Northern Colorado communities here and about CYO’s Northern Colorado programs here.
