At American Legend, we take an immense amount of pride in making dream homes a reality. We also take an immense amount of pride in our team members. We’re a family here, and we’re excited to build each other up and acknowledge when those among us have excelled.
We recognized 12 Legendary Employees within our family-owned company in 2021. If you missed those, here is a recap:
In January, we spotlighted our first Legendary Employee of 2021. Nader Baha, project manager, continually went above and beyond to provide quality customer service and ensure the continued success of our team. He volunteered to conduct homeowner meetings and help with production in Prairie View while also covering for team members in other communities and picking up an additional workload due to COVID-related absences, all while simultaneously launching three new product lines. Great job, Nader! We are so glad you’re on our team!
February’s Legendary Employee of the Month was Christie Anderson. Christie, an accountant, led the accounts payable team through significant changes over the past year, including the hiring and training of new accounting department team members and often working early, late and on the weekends. Our ability to manage the increased unit count in 2020 and our projected growth for 2021 are largely due to Christie’s leadership of the Accounts Payable team and her dedication to always doing whatever is necessary to get the job done. We are truly grateful to have her on our team!
Our Legendary Employee of the Month for March was Will Hill, warranty manager. Consistent year in and year out, Will completed more than 500 service tickets during a challenging time period, with 39% of those in under seven days. He takes ownership and pride in his job and requires very little oversight from his management team. Will always provides legendary service, regardless of the situation. Thanks, Will, for all of your hard work!
It was with great pleasure that we announced Jason Heffron, project manager, as American Legend Homes’ Legendary Employee of the Month in April. Since coming to us in September of 2020, Jason established himself as a vital member of the architectural team. He has a great attitude, solid work ethic and is always willing to help whenever and wherever necessary. During the month of March, Jason completed plan sets for 11 sold jobs as well as 11 buyer sign-off packages and is quickly becoming the go-to person for custom plans. Congratulations, Jason, on a job well done!
Matt Ferguson, who serves our team as an estimator, was recognized as May’s Legendary Employee of the Month. Matt continuously proves himself as an invaluable asset to our company. In addition to his everyday duties which include oversight of the engineering and frame takeoff procedures, new plan and job-specific structural reviews and variance tracking and analysis, Matt is always the first to volunteer to take on special projects such as townhomes and custom jobs. He communicates regularly with his team to ensure that our construction managers have what they need to keep production moving. We appreciate all you do, Matt!
